Irish ceili, folk dance class
Looking to move, meet new people? Join us for an evening of Céilí (traditional Irish social dancing) at the Winona Grange in Tualatin!
A céilí is an informal, community folk dance similar to a contra or barn dance—focused entirely on having fun together rather than perfection.
What to expect: Beginners welcome: You don’t need any dance background! A caller walks everyone through each dance beforehand and calls out the figures during the music.
No partner needed: Come on your own, bring a friend. Dancers rotate frequently, making it a great way to meet people.
What to wear: Casual, comfortable clothes and flat shoes (sneakers work great).
Schedule:
6:45 PM: Doors open
7:00: Class begins. Beginner walk-through & lesson
$10 door
